Two women were arrested Friday on suspicion of residential burglary.

According to a news release:

A witness called 911 about 12:25 p.m. and described what she thought was a burglary across from her home in the 5900 block of Buckthorn Court Northwest. Thurston County Sheriff’s deputies and Olympia police responded.

The suspects were seen leaving the residence, carrying household items and loading them into their vehicle, according to a sheriff’s department news release.

The vehicle was located by an Olympia officer. Darlene J. Lockard, 49, and Alexis J. Schlottmann, 22, of Olympia were arrested by deputies.

Investigators think one of the suspects approached the front door with a flier. When no one answered, entry to the house was forced. The flier was titled “The Dynamic Duo” and described how “Darlene” could perform various types of handiwork.

Anyone who has experienced this type of contact with the Dynamic Duo, is asked to contact the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office at 360-786-5500 or 360-704-2740 or CrimeStoppers at 360-493-2222.
