Tonight is the first of two chances to see the annual Parade of Lighted Ships starting at the Olympia waterfront. The Olympia Yacht Club event sails at 6 p.m. tonight and Saturday. The parade route includes all of Budd Inlet out to Boston Harbor.

The Port Plaza, adajecent to Anthony's restaurant offers a good vantage point. Santa will be on the docks, handing out candy canes to kids.

In addition, the club will sponsor the Dancing Lights Marine Christmas Show beginning Thursday at the Percival Landing Boardwalk.

This free music and light show features a 50 foot motor-yacht decorated with more than 15,000 lights, synchronized to seasonal music. The show begins nightly at 7 o'clock and runs through Christmas Eve.
