Hasselbeck suffered the injury during last Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.
Early in the second quarter, Hasselbeck had his pass tipped at the line of scrimmage. Hasselbeck, who was not touched on the play, limped off the field after pushing off on his left leg.
Rookie Jake Locker made his fourth appearance of the season, connecting on 13- of-29 passes for 282 yards and a touchdown. He also carried the ball six times for 36 yards and a score in Tennessee's 22-17 loss.
Locker, who took a hard hit late in Sunday's game, was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Titans head coach Mike Munchak said they are taking a wait-and-see approach with Hasselbeck.
Wide receiver Nate Washington (ankle) and linebacker Gerald McRath (knee/ankle) both did not take part in Wednesday's session.
In addition, Tennessee signed safety Robert Johnson to the 53-man roster from the team's practice squad and placed veteran safety Anthony Smith on injured reserve.
The 7-6 Titans take on the winless Colts on Sunday.
