Basketball: Tournament schedules for South Sound Classic, Capital Holiday Classic and North Thurston Holiday Tournament

The fifth annual South Sound Classic kicks off the holiday basketball tournament schedule with eight games over two days (Tuesday, Dec. 20 and Wednesday, Dec. 21) at Saint Martin’s University’s Marcus Pavilion.

Two other local holiday basketball tournaments are scheduled for Dec. 28-29 -- the Capital Holiday Classic at Capital High School and the North Thurston Holiday Tournament at North Thurston High School.

SOUTH SOUND CLASSIC
At Saint Martin’s University, Tuesday (Dec. 20) and Wednesday (Dec. 21)

3 p.m. (boys C): River Ridge vs. Capital
4:30 p.m. (boys JV): River Ridge vs. Capital
6:15 p.m. (girls varsity): River Ridge vs. Aberdeen
8 p.m. (boys varsity): River Ridge vs. Skyview

Wednesday’s games
3 p.m. (boys C): River Ridge vs. Olympia
4:30 p.m. (boys JV): River Ridge vs. Olympia
6:15 p.m. (boys varsity): Skyview vs. Kentridge
8 p.m. (boys varsity): River Ridge vs. Foss

CAPITAL HOLIDAY CLASSIC
