Two Tenino men jailed for alleged attack fueled by dispute over woman

Thurston County sheriff’s deputies arrested two Tenino men early Friday morning for allegedly attacking another man with a bat during a dispute over a woman, according to a news release.

According to the release:

The victim was struck in the head with an aluminum baseball bat after the pair confronted him outside his father’s home in Tenino. The suspects also hit and kicked the man and broke out the window of his truck with the bat.

The victim, who lives in Lacey, was treated and released from Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. Deputies have arrested the men, a ages 27 and 29, on suspicion of second-degree assault. They were being held at the Thurston County Jail and were expected to appear in court Friday.
