Olympia police release photo of bank robbery suspect

Detectives with the Olympia Police Department have arrested a suspect in connection with Tuesday's bank robbery at West Coast Bank in the 2800 block of Harrison Avenue Northwest

The 28-year-old man was arrested this morning on suspicion of first-degree robbery without incident in the 2400 block of Bush Avenue.

According to a news release, an Olympia police officer recognized the suspect in the robbery from bank surveillance footage. A witness to the bank robbery later positively identified the suspect, the news release states.
