New law firm opens in Olympia

Phillips Wesch Burgess PLLC has opened in Olympia, a new law firm formed by Mick Phillips, Angelia Wesch and Heather Burgess.

Phillips, who will focus on real estate, land use and construction law, previously was with the Olympia law firm Owens, Davies, Fristoe and Taylor.

Wesch and Burgess previously were with Eisenhower Carlson PLLC. Wesch has experience in construction and insurance law and Burgess is a real estate and land use attorney. Burgess also used to work for the Olympia office of Perkins Coie LLP.

Matthew Kernutt, previously an assistant Attorney General, also has joined the firm as an associate.
