A missing 63-year-old Olympia woman left behind her vehicle stuck on the sand on a beach in Ocean Shores, according to a news release from the Thurston County Sheriff's Office.

Shelley Ann Froyland has been missing from the Olympia area since Thursday, according to the sheriff's office.

She was last seen about 1:40 a.m. Thursday on the Nisqually Reservation east of Lacey. Investigators later learned that she had used her bank card at the Safeway gas pumps that same day at 2:15 p.m. at 221 Herron Drive in Aberdeen. Early morning Friday, the Ocean Shores Police Department located her vehicle on the beach stuck in the sand. No one has talked to Shelley since her time at the Nisqually Reservation, according to the news release.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone who has seen Shelley to contact them at 360-786-5500. Anyone with tips can also call the Ocean Shores Police Department at 360-289-3331.
