Fundraisers thurston county food bank is in need of clean, untorn paper grocery sacks. If you can help, drop them off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 220 Thurston Ave. N.E., Olympia. capital clubhouse offers men and women with mental issues and the homeless help with finding jobs, meals and housing and clothing. Capital Clubhouse needs donations of clean, wearable clothing, tents, tarps and blankets. It is open from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, and is at 618 Seventh Ave., S.E., Olympia. Italian wine tasting and appetizers Uncork and Unwind wine shop will open its doors from 2-6 p.m. today for a private wine tasting to benefit the Olympia Sons of Italy Scholarship Fund. $20 gets participants five tastes and one full glass of their favorite wine. Additional glasses of wine, bottles and food will be for sale with a percentage going to the group. There also will be a 50-50 cash prize raffle. Enjoy an afternoon of shopping, with complimentary wine and cheese, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at Mandelin’s Clothing & Accessories Consignment, 222 Division St., Olympia. Two concerts begin at 8 p.m. Jan. 27 and 28 at Traditions Cafe, 300 Fifth Ave. S.E., Olympia. Suggested donation is $25. Honest abe’s brewhouse bash Relax at the Grove Street Brewhouse, listen to good music, win prizes and help Turning Pointe Domestic Violence Shelter. A silent auction and raffle are also part of the evening. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. Feb. 17 at the brewhouse, 233 First St. S., Shelton.
