The Mod Fix, a retro modern-themed boutique, which specializes in mid-century modern home decor and accessories, is set to open Tuesday at 505 Capitol Way South.

Owner Katherine Sampson, a longtime Olympia resident and graduate of The Evergreen State College, said in an email that the business originally began as an online venture last March, but its growth dictated the need for a retail storefront.

"We aim to help our customers reach their design goals by offering a wide variety of high quality and stylistic modern and vintage products for the home at competitive prices," Sampson said.

The Mod Fix will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
