The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced late Friday night that Saturday's co-ed basketball header between The Evergreen State College and Corban University has been postponed because of safety concerns and power outages on the Evergreen campus. Evergreens scheduled mens and womens games between Northwest Christian University and Corban have now been moved to Sunday (versus Northwest Christian) and Monday (versus Corban) at Evergreen. Sundays games are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. (women) and 7:30 p.m. (men), followed by a tentative game schedule of 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Monday for the womens and mens games, respectively. However, Evergreen officials and the CCC will determine at 2 p.m. Saturday if the school is able to host Sunday's scheduled Evergreen-Northwest Christian games at Evergreen. If Evergreen cannot host due to facility issues, the school has agreed to travel to Northwest Christian in Eugene, Ore., and Corban University in Salem, Ore., to play the games at those campus sites Sunday and Monday. Evergreen's campus has been closed since Wednesday. SPSCC games postponed: SPSCC's men's and women's basketball teams' co-ed doubleheader Saturday with Grays Harbor College has been postponed because of the SPSCC campus being closed and without power all day Friday.
