The Columbian reports Sandra Weller was arraigned on Thursday. She has pleaded not guilty to five counts of second-degree assault and two counts of unlawful imprisonment.
Trial has been set for March 26, when she is scheduled to go to trial with her husband, Jeffrey.
Sandra Weller had been scheduled to be arraigned in late October, but her former defense attorney requested a mental health evaluation.
After a series of postponements, Weller’s new attorney has dropped the request for a mental evaluation.
According to court documents, the 16-year-old twins say they were locked in their bedroom and only fed once a day. The Wellers were arrested in October.
