ODA Person of the Year: Ruth Snyder

Ruth Snyder, the City of Olympia's downtown code enforcement officer, is the Olympia Downtown Association's Person of the Year for 2012.

Snyder was announced as the Person of the Year at the ODA's annual meeting Monday night.

Other winners announced Monday night:

-Volunteer of the Year: Mary Corso, owner, Courtyard Antiques.

-Business of the Year: 94.5 FM Roxy Radio.

The ODA has been choosing a Person of the Year since 2000. Past winners include Archibald Sisters owner Phil Rollins; Bonaventure owner Jeanne Carras; and former Olympic Outfitters owner Ray LaForge.
