Suspect in custody: Man sought in domestic incident

Lacey police took a man into custody without incident Monday morning after he led officers on a high-speed chase to a home in the 2500 block of Carpenter Road.

According to Lacey Police Cmdr. Jim Mack:

The Thurston County SWAT team was called out to the residence after the man and his 3-year-old daughter entered the home and would not leave. However, after a brief standoff, the daughter left the home unharmed and was taken into custody. The suspect gave himself up a short time later, around 11 a.m.

Police were trying to locate the man Monday morning because he is a suspect in an alleged domestic violence incident. An officer located him and attempted to pull his vehicle over in the 6000 block of Pacific Avenue, but the suspect fled.
