• Griffin Athletic Fields (parking lots), 6924 41st Avenue N.W.
• Burfoot Park, (front entrance parking lot), 6927 Boston Harbor Road N.E.
• Kenneydell Park, (ball field parking lot), 6745 Fairview Road
• Waste and Recovery Center (WARC), 2418 Hogum Bay Road N.E. (no fee for residential customers, but businesses or commercial haulers will be charged their regular fee. City of Lacey residents are directed to take their debris to the WARC at no charge.)
• Rainier, (vacant lot behind Rainier Market) corner of Minnesota and Rochester streets.
• Sargent Road Gravel Pit, 16500 Sargent Rd. S.W.
The county sites are open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. seven days a week except for the Waste and Recovery Center, which is open from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekends. The sites will be open through Feb. 29.
OLYMPIA
The city has two drop-off centers for Olympia residents only:
• The city of Olympia Maintenence Center, 1401 Eastside St.
• Yauger Park parking lot by Dirt Works, off Alta Street.
The Olympia sites will be open Saturday and Sunday and Feb. 11-12. The sites will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. except for Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 5), when the centers will close at 2 p.m.
Residents should show some proof of residency, such as an Olympia utility bill. Commercial trucks cannot use the sites.
Olympia residents can also use the county drop-off sites.
TUMWATER
Tumwater residents can leave storm debris on their curbsides for collection in addition to taking it to drop-off sites. All debris must be placed at the street by Feb. 13, when collection begins, according to a news release. There will be no set schedule for pickup.
Only trees and tree limbs will be collected, not garbage, lumber or other building material.
Materials must be placed outside the travel lanes. People should avoid obstructing sidewalks, fire hydrants and neighbors driveways.
In addition to taking debris to county sites, they can take it to Pioneer Park, 5801 Henderson Boulevard S.E. Hours of operation: The site will be open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. This is limited to pickup trucks and small utility trailers; no businesses or commercial haulers are allowed.
