W ith regards to the recent snow and ice storm, thumbs up to Puget Sound Energy crews for working their tails off at all hours of the day to get peoples’ power back. Everywhere you looked, you would see a truck and a crew working. Thumbs down to the Washington State Department of Transportation. I never saw a truck or crew in sight and the whole area shut down because the roads were horrible. I moved here many years ago from the Northeast where they know how to clear the roads of snow and ice. Our DOT needs to take a lesson from their DOT.
