Single-wide trailer fire near Tumwater displaces three residents, two dogs

A fire in a 500-square-foot single-wide trailer near Tumwater displaced three adults and two dogs, according to West Thurston Fire.

According to a news release:

Tumwater and West Thurston firefighters and two medics responded to a call about 3 p.m., soon receiving aid from the McLane Black Lake and East Olympia departments. About 15 firefighters and two medics eventually were on the scene, in the 2400 block of 73rd Avenue Southwest.

The fire was extinguished. The occupants weren’t home, and no one was hurt.

The Red Cross is helping the occupants, who didn’t have renter’s insurance.
