A Shelton man injured in a two-vehicle crash that killed a Lacey woman Friday evening was in fair condition Saturday at Providence St. Peter Hospital, according to a nursing supervisor there.

Adam Rodriguez, 26, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe west near 6225 Hawks Prairie Road when a vehicle driven by Tammy Worthington, 53, crossed the center line, according to the Washington State Patrol. Worthington was killed; Rodriguez was hospitalized. His three passengers were unhurt.

The occupants of the Tahoe were wearing seat belts; Worthington was not. No charges are expected to be filed.
