Oregon’s Olu Ashaolu tied it at 71 with 7.6 seconds to go and was fouled by Askia Booker, but he missed the free throw, and Andre Roberson corralled the rebound for Colorado.
Behind Booker’s 17 points and 16 from Spencer Dinwiddie, the Buffaloes (16-7 overall, 8-3 Pacific-12 Conference) remained perfect at home in their first season in the Pac-12, improving to 7-0 in league play in Boulder. The last time they won eight of their first 11 league games was in 1997 in the Big 12.
Devoe Joseph led the Ducks (16-7, 7-4), who fell to 4-2 on the road in the Pac-12, with 18 points, Ashaolu scored 17 and Singler added 13 points and 12 rebounds.
The Ducks hadn’t played in Boulder since Dec. 2, 1983, when they lost, 61-59. They also lost in their only other trip, 71-57, on Dec. 10, 1960.
Dinwiddie’s 3-pointer put Colorado ahead 70-66. Johnathan Loyd replied with a 3 to make it 70-69 with 22 seconds remaining.
Unable to inbound the ball, Colorado called its last timeout. Then, the Ducks knocked away the inbounds pass twice in a row before Tomlinson collected a full-court pass and was fouled by Singler.
At Washington 69, Southern California 41: Freshman guard Tony Wroten had 13 points and eight assists to lead the Huskies (16-7, 9-2) over the Trojans (6-18, 1-10). Garret Jackson scored 15 for USC, which was outscored by 18 points in the second half.

Arizona 56, at Stanford 43: Kyle Fogg scored 14 points to help the Wildcats beat the Cardinal.
Jesse Perry added 11 points and Nick Johnson and Solomon Hill had 10 each for Arizona (16-8, 7-4), which has won two in a row for the first time since a three-game winning streak at the end of December.
Josh Owens, Aaron Bright and Chasson Randle scored 10 points apiece for Stanford (16-7, 6-5), which has lost four of its past five since being in a tie for first place in the conference.
At California 68, Arizona State 47: Allen Crabbe scored 19 points before injuring his right ankle in the second half to help the Golden Bears rout the Sun Devils.
Jorge Gutierrez added 10 points and five rebounds for Cal (18-6, 8-3)
Kyle Cain scored 18 points and had nine rebounds for Arizona State (7-16, 3-8), which has lost 11 of 14.
Oregon State 76, at Utah 58: Jared Cunningham scored 20 points and the Beavers’ defense registered 16 steals en route to a road win over the Utes. Devon Collier added 14 points for Oregon State (15-8, 5-6).
Utah (5-18, 2-9) committed 22 turnovers.
WOMEN
At UCLA 73, Washington State 52: Markel Walker had the Bruins’ first triple-double in eight years with 14 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists in UCLA’s win over the Cougars.
Rebekah Gardner scored 21 points and Thea Lemberger had 14 for UCLA (12-10, 7-4), which won its fourth consecutive game.
Jazmine Perkins and April Cook had 13 points each for WSU (10-13, 4-7).
At Oregon 67, Colorado 62: Amanda Johnson scored 26 points, including 23 in the second half, and the Ducks (13-10, 5-6) overcame a double-digit deficit to beat the Buffaloes (15-7, 4-7).
Ariel Thomas also had 13 points for Oregon, which trailed 34-21 with 1:33 left.
At Oregon State 62, Utah 49: Earlysia Marchbanks had a career-high 22 points and 10 rebounds to help the Beavers (15-7, 6-5) hold off the Utes (10-12, 3-8).
Oregon State, which also got 13 points from Sage Indendi, won its fourth game in a row despite going scoreless for the last seven minutes of the first half and a four-minute stretch late in the second.
No. 4 Stanford 91, at Arizona 51: Joslyn Tinkle had a career-high 22 points and matched her career best with 11 rebounds, leading five starters in double figures in the Cardinal’s rout of the Wildcats.
Stanford (20-1, 11-0) has won 17 straight since its only loss of the season, at Connecticut on Nov. 4.
Candice Warthen led Arizona (13-10, 2-9) with 13 points.
California 67, at Arizona State 62: Brittany Boyd had 19 points, a conference season-high 10 steals, six assists and six rebounds as the Bears (17-6, 8-3) rallied from a lengthy scoring drought to beat the Sun Devils (15-7, 6-5).
