thurston county food bank is in need of clean, untorn paper grocery sacks. If you can help, drop them off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 220 Thurston Ave. N.E., Olympia.

capital clubhouse helps people with mental issues and the homeless find jobs, meals, housing and clothing. Capital Clubhouse needs donations of clean, wearable clothing, tents, tarps, and blankets. The clubhouse is open from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 618 Seventh Ave. S.E., Olympia. Call 360-357-2582 for information on donating or to learn about support groups that the Clubhouse offers.

Honest abe’s brewhouse bash Relax at the Grove Street Brewhouse, listen to live music, win prizes and help Turning Pointe Domestic Violence Shelter. The event also includes a silent auction and raffle prizes, including a wheelbarrow of wine and two airline tickets. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. Feb. 17 at Grove Street Brewhouse, 233 First St. S., Shelton. The silent auction begins at 8:30 p.m., and you must be present to win.
