Pioneer Park was being used as a drop-off site on weekends, but is now closed to the public until city crews can remove the debris. After it is cleared, the park will reopen to the public and no longer be used as a drop-off site.
There are still options for those continuing to clean up. City disposal crews will continue to pick up storm-related debris left for curbside pickup for Tumwater residents through collection on Monday, Feb. 13.
There are also three county residential drop-off sites accepting storm-related debris free of charge through Feb. 29. The sites include:
• Waste and Recovery Center, 2418 Hogum Bay Road N.E., open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekends,
• The Kenneydell Park ball field parking lot at 6745 Fairview Road, open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days week.
• Sargent Road Gravel Pit at 16500 Sargent Road S.W. open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week.
