Just waded through a miasma of rhetoric to find a bigot denouncing gay marriage.

Hear ye! God created us (all of us) in his image. God also created some animals and birds that are gender specific.

Are you questioning God? Perhaps you need to pray more and hate less.

Rigid thinkers aren’t thoughtful

On Feb. 21, The Olympian had letters from Stan Meyer and Cheryl Huber opposing the recently passed law allowing people of the same gender to marry. Huber apparently cannot write without publicly calling those with differing opinions insulting names. Meyer calls our legislators “a real bunch of idiots” and our governor the “chief idiot.” His jabs are puerile and prohibit rational discourse by those with differing opinions. He jumps to the conclusion that because our leaders have passed a law to extend rights to a minority in our society, that “if God meant it to be the norm …” then everyone in society would be male. Since when? And where in the law does it say that?
