Deputies arrested two women on suspicion of prostitution Tuesday at a Martin Way foot-massage parlor, according to jail booking information.

The arrests occurred about the same time Lacey and Seattle police raided a second foot-massage parlor in the 1400 block of Marvin Road that advertised on the website www.backpage.com. That raid didn’t result in any arrests, according to Lacey Police Lt. Phil Comstock.

Seattle police, Lacey police and the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office all declined to comment on Tuesday’s arrests, citing an ongoing investigation.

The women arrested at Imperial Foot Massage in the 7800 block of Martin Way East were booked and released Tuesday, a court official said.

One is 45 and lists a Rosemead, Calif., address. The other is 51 and lists no fixed address.

An employee of a business neighboring Imperial Foot Massage said Wednesday that the business closed after Tuesday’s raid. He added that its sign had been removed.
