 • Emerald City Basketball Academy has a free clinic and open house at its newest location, 7960 Center St. SW in Tumwater. Clinics are Saturday and Sunday from 10-11 a.m. (third-fourth graders), 11 a.m.-noon (fifth-sixth graders), noon-1 p.m. (seventh-eighth graders) and 1-2 p.m. (high school players).  • Registration has started for Olympia Parks and Rec spring basketball. The league with three different divisions of play runs from March 26 to early/mid-June. Team fee is $625 for officiated play, and registration is due by March 14. Information: 360-753-8380

 • Olympia Parks, Arts and Rec is holding its Smaller Ballers program, designed to provide a positive introduction to sports, including soccer, T-ball, basketball, football and track and field, to young children.
