thurston county food bank is in need of clean, untorn paper grocery sacks. If you can help, drop them off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 220 Thurston Ave. N.E., Olympia.

capital clubhouse offers resources to the homeless as well as men and women with mental issues to help them find jobs, meals, housing and clothing. It needs donations of clean, wearable clothing, tents, tarps, and blankets. The clubhouse is open from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 618 Seventh Ave. S.E., Olympia. Call 360-357-2582 for information on donating money or learning about the Clubhouse’ support groups.

lacey sunrise lions pancake breakfast All-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7-11 a.m. March 17 at the North Thurston High School cafeteria, 600 Sleater-Kinney Road N.E., Lacey. The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, and assorted drinks. Cost is $7 for adults, and $4 for children.
