Fundraisers thurston county food bank is in need of clean, untorn paper grocery sacks. If you can help, drop them off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 220 Thurston Ave. N.E., Olympia. capital clubhouse offers resources to men and women with mental issues or who are homeless to help them find jobs, meals, housing and clothing. It is needs donations of clean, wearable clothing, tents, tarps, and blankets. Capital Clubhouse is open from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 618 Seventh Ave. S.E., Olympia. Call 360-357-2582 for information on donating money or joining support groups that the Clubhouse offers. lacey sunrise lions pancake breakfast All-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7-11 a.m. March 17 at the North Thurston High School cafeteria, 600 Sleater-Kinney Road N.E., Lacey. Menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, and assorted drinks. Cost is $7 for adults, and $4 for children. Dollars for scholars The Rainier Education Foundation will host live and silent auctions, as well as a lasagna dinner, at 3:30 p.m. March 24 at Rainier High School, 308 Second St. W., Rainier.
