Cars4Charities will take your old car, no matter what shape it is in. In return, you will get a tax deduction of $500 or more. They have hundreds of charities that can be helped by your car donation. For details, go to cars4charities.org or call 866-448-3487.

thurston county food bank needs clean, untorn paper grocery sacks. If you can help, drop them off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 220 Thurston Ave. N.E., Olympia.

capital clubhouse offers people with mental issues and the homeless help in finding jobs, meals, housing and clothing. It needs donations of clean, wearable clothing, tents, tarps, and blankets. Hours are 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 618 Seventh Ave. S.E., Olympia. Call 360-357-2582 for information on donating money, or support groups that the Clubhouse offers.

Mother joseph care center 15th annual spring bazaar 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday at 3333 Ensign Road, Olympia. There is vendor space available by calling Penny Hyers, 360-493-4634. Proceeds benefit the Mother Joseph Resident Council Fund.

2012 ms walk Registration for the walk is at 9 a.m. Saturday at Horizons Elementary School, 4601 67th Ave. S.E., Lacey. Call Molly Johnston, 206-284-4254, for more information or go to walkwas.nationalmssociety.org.
