Cars4Charities will take your old car, no matter what shape it is in. In return, you will get a tax deduction of $500 or more. They have hundreds of charities that can be helped by your car donation. For details, go to cars4charities.org, or call 866-448-3487.

“Say it with music” Today, Wrinkles of Washington presents an afternoon of harmonizing, dancing, comedy, instrumentals and song to benefit Senior Services for South Sound. The fun begins at 2 p.m. at Olympia High School Performing Arts Center, 1302 North St. (the entrance is off Carlyon Avenue). Dine Out to Stop Diabetes Dine out July 12 at the River’s Edge Restaurant and 10 percent of your dinner – and the proceeds of a silent auction – will benefit the American Diabetes Association’s “Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes.” The restaurant is at 4611 Tumwater Valley Drive S.W., and the event runs from 4-9 p.m. Call Joyce Trudeau at 360-459-7984 for details.
