Chef’s Night Out An evening of local culinary delicacies, an auction of dining experiences, and the crowning of “Lewis County’s Next Top Chef” kicks off at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Lucky Eagle Casino, 12888 188th Ave. S.W., Rochester. Dine Out to Stop Diabetes If you dine July 12 at the River’s Edge Restaurant in Tumwater, 10 percent of the price of your dinner and the proceeds of a silent auction will benefit the American Diabetes Association’s “Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes.” The River’s Edge is at 4611 Tumwater Valley Drive S.W.; the fundraiser runs between 4-9 p.m. July 12. capital clubhouse offers those who are homeless or who have mental issues help in finding jobs, meals, housing and clothing. It needs donations of clean, wearable clothing, tents, tarps, and blankets. Capital Clubhouse is open from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 618 Seventh Ave. S.E., Olympia.
