Lacey fireworks : The fireworks display will be launched from William A. Bush Park, near College Street and Yelm Highway Southeast. Bush Park will be closed during the show, which will begin at 10:15 p.m. and is expected to last 15-18 minutes. Yelm Highway will be closed from Normandy Drive Southeast to Rainier Loop Southeast from 10:10 p.m. until the show is over.
Capitol Volkssport Club Woodard Bay night walk : The full-moon walk, along the Chehalis Western Trail and out to Woodard Bay, begins at 7 p.m. Walkers will meet at South Bay Grocery, 3425 Shincke Road, Olympia, to carpool to the Woodard Bay trail head. Walkers are advised to bring flashlights.

Four-Legged Fourth events: A parade begins at 11 a.m., followed by a Fourth of July Artesian Family Festival at 6 p.m. The day ends with fireworks show at 10:15 p.m. The events are at the Tumwater Valley Golf Course, 4611 Tumwater Valley Drive. Dine out to stop diabetes: Ten percent of the days dinner check and a silent auction will benefit the American Diabetes Associations Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes. Dining is set for 4-9 p.m. at Rivers Edge Restaurant, 4611 Tumwater Valley Drive S.W.

Four Square Mile Music Festival: The weekend starts from 6 p.m.-midnight Friday with local beer and wine sales and the Adam Craig Band, and continues Saturday as a kickoff to Teninos Oregon Trail Days. Both events are at the Tenino City Parks Little League field; proceeds will go to the Tenino School District and Tenino Quarry Pool.
