WSP responding to fatal crash near Tenino

UPDATE A 50-year-old Rochester man died after apparently hitting a deer while riding his motorcycle near Tenino Saturday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash was reported at around 1:18 p.m. near Goddard Road Southwest and Tilly Road, according to Trooper Guy Gill.

The man was riding a 2012 Harley Davidson. The crash is still under investigation.

INITIAL REPORT: The Washington State Patrol is responding to a fatal motorcycle crash near Tenino.

The crash was reported near Goddard Road Southwest and Tilly Road involving a motorcyclist that may have struck a deer, according to Trooper Guy Gill.

Thurston County dispatchers said they received reports of the crash at around 1:18 p.m.
