How can America grow when we’re so divisive?

I was delighted that the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. Now millions of Americans will be able to obtain or keep the health care they need and deserve.

What I don’t understand is why the far right and their Republican allies want to deprive people of health care. What was unconstitutional about allowing children to stay on their parents’ health plan until they are 26, stop the denial of health coverage to children with pre-existing medical conditions, and helping seniors with their pharmacy bills?

Watching the news afterwards, I was saddened to hear all of the hate and disrespect being voiced. Have we lost sight of what it means to help our fellow citizens?

How can our great country continue to grow and be an example for the rest of the world when we are so divisive and show such a lack of compassion and respect of each other?
