The Olympia School Board will hold a public hearing at 6:15 p.m. today to take comments on the district’s proposed 2011-12 budget extension for the Capital Projects Fund.

The resolution under consideration would increase the fund expenditures by $7.9 million to a total of $21.8 million, and increase the Capital Projects Fund revenue by $82 million to a total of $94.6 million. After the hearing, which will be at the Knox Administrative Center, 1113 Legion Way S.E., Olympia, the board will hold a regular meeting.

Agenda items include a presentation about the general scope and primary design themes for the Boys and Girls Club project that’s being studied for Olympia’s west side, a presentation of proposed salary schedules for unrepresented non-supervisory workers and building administrators and a vote on the Capital Projects Fund budget extension.

For more information on the meeting, call 360-596-6104 or go to www.osd.wednet.edu.
