33rd annual Kick In The Grass youth soccer tournament runs this weekend

Washington’s longest-running youth soccer tournament, Kick in the Grass, will have its 33rd annual event this weekend at four area venues in Tumwater. The tournament begins today (Friday) and concludes Sunday.

One hundred and fifteen boys and girls teams ranging from U10 through U18 teams will play at four separate venues -- Tumwater and Black Hills high schools, Pioneer Park, and the new Blackhills Community Soccer Complex. Ninety-two of the games will be played at complex. New this year is a U10 division, which will be played as a jamboree-style, tournament director Randy Sanford said.

Parking: Limited. Carpooling is encouraged, especially at Pioneer Park
