Shipping news: M/V Hosanger delivers shipment of ceramic products

The Port of Olympia is back in the import business, receiving a shipment of bagged ceramic products called "proppants."

About 5,000 metric tons of the ceramic-related product were delivered to the port aboard the M/V Hosanger, which traveled to Olympia from China. The ship arrived July 27 and was expected to depart July 29.

-Customer: Rainbow Ceramics.
