Vote Ring-Erickson in the 35th District

Our political climate is in a vitriolic state, and it seems the extreme partisans on both sides are content with that. They grandstand on issues with no actual desire to solve the real-world problems we face every day, and they push agendas that don’t offer real-world solutions.

In this political climate, there are few candidates worth supporting and even fewer worth writing a letter for.

One candidate I find refreshing is Lynda Ring-Erickson, who is running for the open state representative seat in the 35th District. Lynda listens to all sides and would make the best decision for our community regardless of what the extreme partisans want.

Despite being a Democrat, you see Republicans supporting Lynda because they see in Lynda someone they can work with to solve the problems the rest of us face every day. Maybe it was her time spent as a police officer learning to work with others in some of the most difficult situations imaginable, but it’s this no-nonsense problem solving and independent thinking that we need so desperately in Olympia.

Solutions are not going to be found from the extreme fringes; if they were, we’d have found them by now. We need someone who can break that gridlock.
