After latest round of ballot counting, Heck, Wolfe and Rogers maintain leads

Olympia’s Denny Heck has added to his lead in the race to represent Washington’s newly created 10th District. After the latest round of vote counting Wednesday, the Democrat had 49.4 percent of the vote in Thurston County. Republican Dick Muri was second, with 23.1 percent.

Democrats Cathy Wolfe and Karen Rogers remained the top two vote-getters in the Thurston County commission District 1 race, with Wolfe receiving 32.6 percent of the vote and Rogers getting 30 percent. In the District 2 race, Democrat Sandra Romero had 53.3 percent of the vote; Republican Andrew Barkis had 46.7 percent.
