Level 3 sex offender registers, will live in Thurston County as a transient

Level 3 sex offender Brian L. Kim has registered indicating that he plans to live in Thurston County as a transient, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

According to a news release:

Kim pleaded guilty March 5, 2001, in Superior Court to one count of second-degree rape and was sentenced to 8½ years in prison. The conviction stems from Kim, at 29, sexually assaulting a 22-year-old disabled man he didn’t know.

Kim, 42, is described as a white male, 5 feet, 4 inches and 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
