Homeless in woods problem on westside

The city of Olympia needs to make the landowner of homeless woods in West Olympia kick them all out and post “No trespassing” signs.

At Fifth Avenue Southwest and Courtside Street Southwest is a large wooded area with three apartment complexes that border it on three sides along with Yauger Park. The amount of trash, trespassers roaming the complexes at night, illegal fires, the smell of human waste and needles on the ground is a public health and safety issue.

People using the park are panhandled and harassed, and by the time the police arrive they have run back into the woods.
