The Tumwater School District has received a $22,300 grant from Washington STEM, a nonprofit that supports efforts in science, technology, engineering and mathematics efforts.
The money will be used to help teachers from Michael T. Simmons Elementary School and Littlerock Elementary School develop new curriculum that explores global transportation in the 21st century, according to an announcement posted on the districts web site.
