Fire investigators think a fire Friday morning at a vacant house off Littlerock Road was set intentionally.

Crews from West Thurston Fire Authority responded to the area of 110th Avenue and Littlerock Road at 5:50 a.m. to find a two-story, wood-frame home on fire, according to a news release.

The home had been vacant for two years, though neighbors say transients had been known to live on the property, the release said.

No injuries were reported. The fire is being investigated as a possible arson. Investigators are searching for the owners of the property.

West Thurston had assistance from McLane/Black Lake Fire, Griffin Fire, East Olympia Fire, Tumwater Fire, the Riverside Fire Authority and Lacey Fire District 3.
