Free back-to-school immunization clinics offered in South Sound

Thurston County Public Health and Social Services is offering free back-to-school immunization clinics. The clinics will be from 9 a.m. to noon, and will include all children's vaccines required for school, as well as pertussis (whooping cough) vaccines for adults without access to health care.

Families should bring their children’s immunization records to the events, which are scheduled:

*Sept. 22 at Rochester Middle School, 9937 Highway 12 SW, Rochester.

*Sept. 29 at Yelm Middle School, 402 W. Yelm Ave., Yelm.

*Oct. 6 at the Group Health Olympia Medical Center, 700 Lilly Road NE, Olympia.
