A letter to the editor writer asks: Do you really think a billionaire cares diddly squat about you?

Well, it seems that Democrats think rich politicians are great unless they are Republican. Why else would they have nominated John Kerry for president a few years ago. Thanks to his marrying the heir to the Heinz Company, Kerry is the most weathy member of congress. Didn’t President John Kennedy inherit his fortune from his super rich parents? Franklin Roosevelt was a man of wealth and actually so was George Washington, our first President, after he married the wealthy widow Martha. Let’s talk about wealthy Democratic House of Representative member Nancy Pelosi. Do Democrats complain about her financial blessings? In fact, many members of Congress – Democrats and Republicans--are rich. The Clintons – Bill and Hillary – have become quite wealthy. Did Democrats castigate her when she ran for president because she is a woman of wealth? President Obama is only worth a few million, but after he leaves office, writes his Presidential memoirs, makes speaches for large sums of money as do other former presidents, he may also become super rich. I don’t understand why many Democrats don’t want a successful, wealthy Republican businessman to become president. This makes no sense to me. Would the class warfare people like it better if a complete financial failure were to be elected president?
