Fundraiser calendar for Sept. 16

“Great Food For a Great Cause” raises funds for the Zonta Club of South Puget Sound. It will run from 11 a.m.- 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Burger Claim Restaurant, in the parking lot of Great Wolf Lodge, in Grand Mound.

3rd Annual bpa golf tournament to benefit North Thurston High School band Two options to chose from for the Saturday fundraiser: The $80 golf and dinner includes greens fee, power cart, bucket of practice balls, tournament contests and All-American BBQ dinner banquet with an opportunity to participate in the raffle/silent auction; The $25 dinner-only option includes the All-American BBQ dinner banquet, and the raffle/silent auction opportunity. South Puget Sound Mobile Search and Rescue Spaghetti Feed & Dessert Auction Spaghetti feed includes a dessert auction, basket raffles, and an enclosed bounce house from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Columbian Hall, 6794 Martin Way E., Lacey. Secondhand safari winter coat and clothing drive Donate winter clothes to help needy Thurston County kids served by Community Youth Services. Donations will be accepted at the CYS booth at the Secondhand Safari from 1-3 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Thurston County Fairgrounds, 3054 Carpenter Road SE, Lacey. Zonta of Olympia murder mystery dinner fundraiser Zonta of Olympia is partnering with Harlequin Productions to host the dinner from 5:30-9 p.m. Oct. 27 at Indian Summer Golf & Country Club, 5900 Troon Lane SE, Olympia. Tickets are $75, or $65 early-bird special. Call 360-556-2619 for details.

South bay pta dinner auction offers an evening of food and fun, with music and fundraising for the students of South Bay Elementary. Festivities kick off at 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at Lacey Community Center, 6729 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey. Cost is $25 until Oct. 19.


Thurston County Food Bank needs clean, untorn paper grocery sacks. If you can help, drop them off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at 220 Thurston Ave. NE, Olympia.
