Enterprise for Equity's Smith among Women of Achievement for 2012

The YWCA of Olympia has announced its Women of Achievement for 2012, six women who come from the athletic world, the business sector, the arts and social services.

The following are this year's women of achievement:

-Valerie Fluetsch, Olympia Youth Chorus executive director.

-Marian Graham, Altrusa International of Olympia member.

-Meta Hogan, Bread & Roses live-in host.

-Lesley Roberts, former race director and race consultant for the Capital City Marathon.

-Cheryl Selby, Vivala owner and Olympia Downtown Association member.

-Lisa Smith, Enterprise for Equity executive director.

Honey Dubes, an Olympia High School senior and a Running Start student at South Puget Sound Community College, is the 2012 Young Woman of Achievement scholarship recipient.

The women of achievement celebration gala is set for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Red Lion Hotel Forest Ballroom. The event is open to the public. Tickets are $75 and tables of eight are available for $600.
