Teen injured in Lewis County collision, cited for negligence

A Winlock teen was injured in a two-car crash Friday in Lewis County, according to the Washington State Patrol. An Olympia man in the other car was not injured.

Also according to the State Patrol: Kayleigh D. Anderson, 16, was driving a 1999 Acura Integra south on Military Road at 5:35 p.m. She failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2008 Toyota Corolla, westbound on state Route 505, driven by Manuel R. Delacruz, 71.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Both cars were totaled. Anderson was cited for negligent driving. bsandford@theolympian.com
