A motorcyclist was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after driving over a set of chains on Interstate 5 near Capitol Boulevard, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash was reported about 2:35 p.m. and initially blocked the two right northbound lanes of the interstate, said Trooper Guy Gill.
The rider, an adult male, drove over the chains and lost control, Gill said. He was taken to a hospital with “non-life-threatening injuries,” Gill added.
All lanes of the interstate were reopened by 3:15 p.m.
