LACEY: Inslee, PUD candidates to attend public meeting

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jay Inslee is scheduled to appear today at the Democratic Study Group’s regular meeting at the Panorama retirement community in Lacey. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Panorama Auditorium, 1670 Circle Loop SE, Lacey. The event is open to any member of the public.

Also scheduled to attend and speak are Linda Oosterman and Steve Fossum, candidates for nonpartisan commissioner positions with the Thurston County Public Utility District.

Inslee, who faces Republican Rob McKenna on Nov. 6, is scheduled to speak for 15 minutes and take questions or comments from the audience. For more details, call Ruth Shearer at 360-438-5682.
