Postseason begins today (Wednesday) for boys tennis, Thursday for boys golf

Yes, it's Wednesday, Oct. 10, but here we are talking about postseason.

Today (Wednesday) is the first day of the two-day 2A Evergreen Conference boys tennis subdistrict meet. Today's Day 1 action began this morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Tiger Courts in Centralia and wraps up Friday at the Capitol City Tennis and Athletic Center, located at 7845 Center St. SW, near the Olympia Regional Airport. The 2A District IV boys tennis tournament is Oct. 19-20 at Mint Valley in Longview.

On Thursday is the 2A Evergreen Conference boys golf tournament -- an 18-hold round at Olympia Country and Golf Club. The 2A District IV tournament is Oct. 17-18 at Three Rivers in Kelso, where 12 schools and 72 golfers will play two 18-hold rounds.
