Pacific County Sheriff's searching for armed robbery suspect

PACIFIC COUNTY -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a golf course outside of Raymond at gunpoint and fled Friday afternoon.

No one was hurt.

The robbery was reported at 4:11 p.m. at Willapa Harbor Golf Course, 2424 Fowler Road. The suspect, described as a white man with a dark complexion standing at 5-feet 11-inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, according to a Pacific County Sheriff's Office news release.

The man was last seen wearing a black hat, black sweatshirt and Khaki pants. He was armed with a handgun and left "with an undetermined amount of cash."

Pacific County Sheriff's deputies, South Bend police officers, Raymond police officers and Washington State Patrol troopers investigated and searched with a police dog.
